Nashville police and the family of Sarah Stacey are appealing to the public for help after the young woman disappeared earlier this week.
Sarah, who is originally from Lebanon, Tennessee, was last seen on August 6, 2025, in the greater Nashville area. Her mother, Diana Stacey, said an official missing persons report was filed with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shortly after her disappearance.
In an emotional plea shared online, Diana wrote, “Jeff Stacey and I are scared. Our daughter, Sarah Stacey, is missing. If you have seen her since August 6, or know where she is, please let us know. Before you start praying, think of the worst-case scenario for your daughter, then pray. I lost my daughter, Kathryn Wright, in December 2024. I cannot bear to lose another one.”
Family members say they have received conflicting information over the past two days and are relying solely on police for verified updates. Friends have notified places Sarah was known to visit, but the family has urged people not to publicly name any establishments to avoid harassment of local businesses.
Sarah’s cousin, Charleton Goodwin, also shared a desperate call for help, writing, “She has been missing for over 48 hours. Her mother and father are worried and scared for her safety. If you have any information that may help locate her, please reach out to the police immediately.”
Diana Stacey added that the family’s only focus is bringing Sarah home safely and ensuring she receives any help she needs. If wrongdoing is involved, they say they will pursue charges.
